The plot of the movie resolves around two brothers, one being Prabhas and the other Ranadaggubati. The principal personality of Ranadaggubati is jealousy and cruelty. On the other hand, Prabhas is more subdued, righteousness and humble to people and to Kingdom of Mahismati. Ranadaggubati refers to as Bhalladeva who is menacing and ready to do anything to become the king of Mahismathi.

The narration of the movie begins with Sivagami(Ramyakrishen) trying to save the kid from the tyranny of Balladeva and his force, she climbs down the mountain from Mahishmati Kingdom , in her effort to safeguard the kid , she scarifies herself in the water. The people around the region hears the crying of the baby, and they embrace the baby from the water. One of the couple feels that baby is gift of GOD as they do not have their own children. The kid is very adamant and wants to climb the mountain for which her mother always against it. Prabhas also known as shivudu notices the mask which flows from the waterfalls. He would try to figure out the true person of the mask. Hence, he climbs the mountain and figures out avaintika, a member of a group trying to liberate the Devasana ( Anushaka) who is in captive for 25 years by Bhallaladeva, the tyrant king of Mahishmathi. Shivudu is trying to know the past of Avantika and their mission, falls in love with her. He takes up the responsibility of redeeming Devasena ( Anushka Shetty) from the clutches of oppression from Bhalladeva.

Bhalladeva is man of greed and wants to build his onw statue of 1000 meters high of GOLD on his birthday.

Shivudu disguises himself one of the subjects of the Mahishmati Kingdom. While the multitude of people trying to erect the statue of Bhalladeva, they are unable to push the statue. One of the persons falls down because of his fragility and creates a kind of implosion of the statue, suddenly, Shivudu holds the rope, becomes a saviour and helps the people to setup Bhalladeva statue.

In the process, the fragile person recalls that Shivudu resembles like Bahubali , resonates his name as Baahubali, then the multitude of people echoes it. It’s a major blow to the egoistic Bhalladeva , brings a kind of illusion in his mind that the erected statue was of Bahhubali and not his statue.Bhalladeva wants to figure out the cause of chanting Baahubali in the crowd, shivudu utilizes the opportunity to set free the captive of Devasena. In the process, there would a dramatic fight between the Baalladeva army, Kattappa against shivudu.  Kattappa realizes that shivudu resembles like Baahubali, who is the heir of of Bahhubali.

Shivudu is perpexled by this and wants to know about his history and poses a question to Kattappa about his past. Kattappa narrates about the Kingdom of Mahishmati , the Bijjaladeva ( nazeer) is incapable handicap and the King of Mahishmathi, realizes the  incapacity of Bijjaladeva to administer the kingdom, and nominates his brother would be the natural heir to the Kingdom.

 The cruelty, arrogance seeds into the mind of Bijjaladeva, and his wife Sivagami( Ramyakrishan) has a child. The queen gives birth to a child and dies while giving birth to baby. Sivagami takes the responisiblity of the kingdom andtheir subjects. As some of the ministers in the kingdom sizes to take opportunity of kingdom. Sivagami wants to wipe out the disloyal ministers of their kingom and decides that the true king would be the person who would uphold righteousness and also being brave warrior to safeguard the subjects. Sivagami gives equal affection, training and education to both Balladeva and Baahubali. In a test to determine the impending king of the Mahishmathi, both her sons are equally powerful. One of the traitors in the Kingdome sends a secrets of the Mahismathi kingdom to Kalakeay, the warlord having a army of one lakh people, who are creul without any humanity. They get the secreats of kingdom and on their way to attack the Mahishmati.

Sivagami, wants his sons to demolish and destroy the Kalakeya warlord, the one with humanity and tactical apporache would be crowned as the king once they defeat the enemies. Balladeva get the best of the equipments of the war , the people, Baahubali, gets  outdated weapons and mediocre resources to combat the enemies. Sivagami makes a declaration that the one who would defeat Kalakeya without destroying their subjects would be crowned as the king of Mahishmathi.

It’s a tradition and custom, during wars in India, there would be an offer to have a treaty to ensure there wouldn’t be any catastrophe, loss of life or damage to the property. Similarly, Sivagami wants to have dialogue with Kalakeya warlord and makes an appeal to go back submitting themselves. They are adamant and reluctant, instead they try to humiliate Sivagami with regressive responses. This makes sivagami to order their sons to begin the battle. Before the war, the strategy, the strengths, weakness and the type of strategy to be implemented is being discussed to combat the barabaric kalakeaya army.

Ballaladeva uses his force to demolish the enemies without giving any importance to their subjects in the battle. On the contrary, Baahubali, respects the life of their subjects and also skillfully destroys the enemy.

Bijjaladeva wants his son to be the next king as he killed kalakeya warlord, and pleads Sivagami to crown his to the throne. However, Sivagami notices the real war and amazed by the righteousness of Baahubali, and his approach to save the people during war.  Hence, she decides to name Baahubali as the king of Mahismati. These past events were narrated by Kattappa to Shvidu to get an insight about his past

This makes the people to know who killed Baahubali and he acknowledges that he himself backstabbed Baahubali. This is the most important aspect of the movie as to why Kattappa Killed Baahubli, this dramatic story to be unviled in the next year 2016.

The performance of the star cast outstanding in the movie, be it Prabhas, sathyaraj, Rana, Ramyakrisha, Tamanna , etc., It’s a technical marvel and it will really have an enduring impact ,a spectable of movie viewing. This is the best Indian produced movie in terms of its technology or the war episodes.

SS Rajamouli has surpassed everyone in the Indian film industry in terms of making and narrating a story. Every detail in the movie is epic and this needs to be experienced.

He has been setting a benchmark and he is surpassing them with his every venture. Beware, other film makers do not be in the comfort zone, try to think innovate to make audience to have a lingering experience of movie Viewing.

My rating for the movie is :3.5.
