Leadership is one of the key components of management and Organization. The kind of leaders an organization encompasses would have a direct bearing on the bottom line as well as on host of other stakeholders associated with an entity. The leader can be a democratic or autocratic or might be a combination of these two, and his approach can be based on the state of the organization.  However, the following attributes can make a leader effective in conceiving and realizing his vision. 

Decision making skills in a complex environment

If you want to be a leader you must have good acumen skills to make a viable decision. The environment in which a leader discharges his duties would eclipse him with enormous amount of complexities. He should be able to disentangle himself from those cobwebs to deal with uncertainties. He should have a great insight about the factors affecting the environment and the arsenal that he has at his disposal to resolve it

Take Risk and challenge the existing processes

The rapid pace with which every participant in the market seem to be innovating itself to spearhead the competition. A leader should constantly be reinventing him to create a vision for the entity and also to delegate the responsibilities to his followers to excel in their performance to realize his vision.  A leader must take risks, unleash never expected kind of offering in the market place and delight the customer with a unique customer experience as compared to other business enterprises.

Prudently utilize the Resources

Leader must constantly be communicating with his followers about the road map and the progress made towards the envisaged objectives. He should empower and instil confidence in the minds of his followers to take action, foster a kind of culture to do things differently. He should recognize and reward the immense contributions from the people making a difference. Leaders vision and subordinates action should head in the same direction to see fruitful results.

Leader should always be a learner

A leader should always be a learner and should not be rigid with his leadership skills. He should learn from others and must keep changing the approaches to deliver things.  He should also build an environment of change in the organization to see that his followers adhere to it and it must be an all pervasive approach across the organization.

There must be constant thought process in providing different kind of products to market segments

The offerings in the market place should never be same, since, the customer market tends to expect different things on a continuous basis. Thus, a leader should foresee what the best products or services that he could unveil into market and make customers always to be curious in the market place.
