Baahubali Conclusion - Ticket Pricing- Insanely horrendous- Discriminating.
Yes, I have watched the movie Baahubali conclusion on the very first day of its release in Bangalore. I liked the movie and shelled out Rs 3000 in total for 4 our family members. Yes, the demand and supply determines the price for any product, of course, there has been humongous amount of supply and demand for the movie. However, the pricing in Karnataka has surpassed every other state in India. Does it mean that we have huge amount of disposal Income or its just the assumption of Producers or distributors to exploit the people of Karnataka. The product is the same, the director is the same, the crew members of the movie is same, why the pricing is discriminating. We do not get the money just like that, we need to earn to spend it. However, the price that we have paid for the movie is excruciating , and its really 3 times as compared few of the cities. Yes, Piracy is dangerous for the industry and it dilutes the efforts of people involved film making. Why shouldn't there be a cap being set for the ticket prices whether its big film or small film. I usually watch a good movie for 2 or 3 times, but this time I couldn't see it as I have already paid huge purchase consideration for watching that movie. The producers and distributors might proudly claim that they have earned 1000 crores, bear in mind,it's kind of day light robber by charging the consumers insanely. There must be a win-win situation not mere exploitation. I do not support piracy but this kind of horrendous ticket pricing is not a healthy for the industry, ultimately, consumers are king.
