Reflection Point - Pandemic Crisis

Its an unprecedented event for the entire humanity to lockdown itself to protect against the invisible virus. The humans don’t have appropriate arsenal to combat the virus, and they are at the upper hand now. The scientists, the doctors, researchers and scholars are trying to provide a sustainable solution. The pharmaceutical entities are in quest to find a vaccine at fast track basis. The heads of the governments are prioritizing the to save lives with lockdown measures and financial stimulus. The poor people without enough money at disposal seem have become wanders, their existence itself is at risk. They are walking back to their villages by walk hundreds of kilometers. Such kind of disasters wouldn’t give necessary time frame to plan things to ease the situation. Huge number of people must work from home through Virtual Environment, and this is a kind of solace to them. Others, who cannot deliver things might have to stay leisurely, the people earning lesser income would be expecting the virus to disappear and restart the whole economic back to action. World Health Organization says lockdown wouldn’t be the solution, they say identify, test, quarantine, contact tracing and find a vaccine.

The Pharmaceutical companies says that to follow the protocol to build a vaccine would take a decade of time for a safe vaccine. The world would encounter a unprecedented economic downturn which might risk millions of people to be under poverty. It might also bring social disorder and criminal acts.

The people will have to be wise in their spending activities, which might further slaughter the Economy. The truth is that the Spiritual Leaders are not making much sounds with their dogmas, the religious places are deserted, which means to say God cannot help them. Its just the science and ambassadors or the warriors of science, or the Doctors have become the saviors for the society as they are on the frontline.

Currently, there isn’t an appropriate solution for the crisis, its just trial and error methods must be adopted to combat this. The lockdown may be lifted, if they notice increase in the number cases of the contraction. The sovereign states might again employ lockdown, the catastrophe would be huge.

We have the International communities working hard to contain the contagion, but, there are no signs of it now. There is accusation that WHO hasn’t handled the pandemic, and they just believed the information and reports provided by the Chinese. The Chinese blames the world, they didn’t  take the necessary measures to contain the virus when they had imposed the lockdown measures. This blame game would bound to be there.

The media would be over-cautious and perhaps might inflict fear within the public. The vested interested parties within the society might try to involve in polarizing actives ignoring the human value.

It’s a time to pause reflect and deal with the future in a more meticulous way as opposed to driven by the wealth creation. We know we cannot enjoy the wealth as the provision to do so is engulfed by the virus to take its toll.

The basic necessities of life, the emotional bonding and mutual respect for the fellow human beings is utmost important. We can leave without luxurious, as we have imagined all the while that achieving it would be a great thing. We have exerted uncalled for stress on ourselves to reach this point.

This is the moment for us to decide what matters most and it must be rationale.
